The Horsham Wesley Methodist
Church was built in 1912 of local red bricks. It featured red pine
timber and semicircular seating with the floor sloping down towards
the pulpit, thus creating a very intimate atmosphere. Horsham’s
successful iron foundry partner, James Millar, presented the beautiful
pipe organ which was an excellent example of organ-building of its
period. The diapered designs on the display pipes were, and still
are, out-standing. The building is of considerable historical interest
as there are practically no old buildings of any significance left
in this city. |
