Background
Wesley Performing Arts Centre believes that it is important to encourage and create opportunities for people who live in our region to develop their talents in the performing arts. In memory of Richard Morris and his extraordinary contribution to the Performing Arts in Horsham, under the banner of the Wesley Performing Arts Centre, family and friends have established this Memorial Scholarship. The intention of the Scholarship is to support young people to succeed in their chosen field within the performing arts continuing Richard's commitment to nurturing young talent.
Auspiced by the Weight Family Foundation, the Richard Morris Memorial Scholarship will offer a young person the opportunity to receive a scholarship to the value of $1000 to support and encourage his or her performing arts development.
Application procedures
Applications will be considered by individuals for:
Singing
Acting
Musical Instrument
Theatre Technician
other Performing Arts related activities
Winner(s) will be contacted by phone, and all applicants are requested to attend the concert on November 20 at Wesley Performing Arts Centre for the official announcement of the Award.
