The Awakenings festival is much more than Australia’s only regional disability arts festival! This dynamic, inclusive 10 day event draws performers and participants from around Australia to the welcoming community of Horsham for ten days every October.

Wimmera Eisteddfod

Held from September 11th to 15th, 2009. Sections for piano, vocal, choirs, brass & woodwind.

Chamber Music Competition - currently on hiatus

Usually held at the Wesley Performing Arts Centre, Roberts Avenue, Horsham, Victoria. The magnificent Schimmel grand piano is always e a special feature of this competition.

The competition is held on Saturday afternoon and evening and Sunday morning and afternoon. If the number of entries is small, all sections are held on Sunday.

Awards are presented at the conclusion of each section and the competition usually concludes at 3.00 on Sunday.
